Description

Having travelled up to Rockwood, you're quickly put to work at the nearby mine. Finish loading a train with coal and prepare it for its journey east to Cumberland Terminal.

Task Log and Objectives

• You've been assigned to a Unit coal train today, which is currently sitting at Rockwood Loading Facility. First complete coal loading then bring the train back to Cumberland Terminal.
• CLIMB ABOARD. Sit in the Engineer's seat of the lead locomotive
• GO VIA LOCATION. Loading Facility
• LOAD COAL.
• TRACK SWITCH.Set the switch to the correct track
• COUPLE TO FORMATION. 27 vehicles
• PREPARE THE LOCOMOTIVE. Set the Reverser to NEUTRAL and the Autobrake to FULL SERVICE
• INTEGRATED FUNCTION DISPLAY. Select the Air Brake screen [1] and then cress Cut-Out [F3], Trail [F4] and Save [F6]
• INTEGRATED DISPLAY. For IFD functions, press the indicated buttons below the screen
• SWITCH OFF SYSTEM. Switch off the Engine Run, Generator Field and Control Switch
• CLIMB ABOARD. Sit in the Engineer's seat of the lead locomotive
• PREPARE THE TRAIN. Set the Reverser to FORWARD and the Autobrake to FULL SERVICE
• INDEPENDENT BAIL OFF. Hold the Independent Brake in BAIL OFF until the Brake Cylinders are empty of air
• RELEASE THE BRAKES. The Brakes will take 5 minutes to release. Once complete, the Rockwood marker will appear and you may proceed.
• STOP AT LOCATION. Rockwood Junction
• T205. Await passage of an eastbound, then subject to signal indications, proceed from Rockwood Junction to Salisbury Junction on Main 2. Over.
• Weather forecast doesn't look good, but you've got enough experience to handle the situation. Have a good trip.
