The 50-foot Plate C Boxcar is one of the most common types of boxcars since the 1970s when they started to be manufactured. They are constructed by various manufacturers and are included in the Sand Patch Grade route in CSX livery. They are used in a variety of scenarios and services where they are primarily used as parts of manifest trains. They will also be included in the upcoming NEC: New York route for Train Sim World.
